Welcome to the fighting pits of the Grim Dark Brotherhood.
Here, heroes and warriors face each other in battles to the death, fame and fortune abound, but only for those who prove their mettle against the very best the galaxy has to offer.
Fighting pit rules:
1. No-one talks about the fighting pit.
2. Players may only enter a single character, and that character must be equipped exactly as they are in the event's army lists.
3. D-Weapons are not permitted, and are the only exception to rule 2, where the points cost may be reduced to remove any d-strength options.
4. A maximum of 4 players contest a fighting pit at any one time, and must start on one of the 4 pit podiums.
5. First action is determined by a D6 roll-off adding the character's inititative, with the highest combined total acting first.
6. Player order is determined at each phase of the turn, so the first player to move may not be the first player to shoot.
7. Psykers are limited to casting a single power each turn, though blessings and maledictions last until they are cancelled, either by casting the same power on a different model or that model shaking off the effect (roll to deny the warp as normal)
8. Psyker choose their psychic discipline once all combatants in a particular fighting pit are revealed.
9. Players taking part in a fighting pit gain 1 tournament point for entering. They can gamble up to 3 tournament points on the outcome, gaining D3x their stake for winning. If the player fails to win the tournament, the points they gamble are lost.
10. Flying creatures can only enter glide mode.
11. Instant death has no effect in the fighting pit.
Reaver Class rules:
The Reaver class fighting pit is for characters costing between 101pts and 200pts including wargear
